Amendments to Section 132G of the Companies Act 1965 pertaining to exemption clauses under subsection (5) with regard to prohibited transactions involving shareholders, directors and persons connected with such shareholders and directors having substantial shareholdings.
Proactive measures towards establishing a Securities Commission in Malaysia including organising a seminar on the subject in 1991 and commissioning an expert from Cambridge University to prepare a detailed paper on the subject for presentation to the Malaysian Government.

Assisting the government towards establishing the Malaysian Accounting Standards Board (MASB). We have been actively involved in the various MASB Working Groups to review a number of existing accounting standards and new ones.
Undertaken the responsibility of leading the Working Group under the High Level Finance Committee on Corporate Governance for the formulation of a national code on best practice (The Malaysian Code on Corporate Governance) and comprehensive training and education programmes for directors, shareholders and other corporate participants of plcs during 1998.
